You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. MyDiary cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.
3. Content Ownership and License
You retain absolute and complete ownership of any text, images, or other data you enter into MyDiary (collectively, "User Content"). We claim no ownership or copyright over your content. By writing journal entries, you grant us a limited, technical, server-side license solely to host, transmit, and sync your entries for the operational purpose of showing your private journal to you on your authenticated devices.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the service to commit illegal acts, distribute malware, disrupt our servers or infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to other user accounts. Abuse of our network and database systems may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
5. Limitation of Liability
MyDiary is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to maintain high system availability and robust backups, we do not warrant that the service will be entirely error-free, uninterrupted, or that your data will never be subject to accidental loss. We strongly encourage keeping personal offline backups of highly critical information.
6. Termination
You may terminate your account and wipe all database records at any time through the account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or block access for users who repeatedly violate our acceptable use guidelines.
7. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active users of major structural changes in advance.
